What in this moment

Is lacking?

- Rinzai.

Life is not a task. There is absolutely nothing to attain except the realisation that there is absolutely nothing to attain.

-Tony Parsons.

See with your eyes,

Hear with your ears.

- Tenkei.

The search ends with the realization that there is no such thing as enlightenment. By searching you want to be free from the self, but whatever you are doing to free yourself from the self is the self. How can i make you understand this simple thing? There is no "how". If I tell you that, it will only add more momentum to the search, strengthen that momentum. That is the question of all questions: "How?, how?, how?"

- U. G. Krishnamurti.

The moon's the same old moon,

The flowers exactly as they were,

Yet I've become the thingness

Of all the things I see!

- Bunan.

I saw a waster sitting on a patch of ground,

Heedless of belief and unbelief,

The World and the Faith -

No God, no Truth, no Divine Law, no Certitude:

Who in either of the worlds has the courage of this man?

- The Ruba'iyat of Omar Khayam.
